Vacancy available: Finance Administration Assistant

This is a part-time post in which you will be responsible for carrying out financial and administrative tasks from Monday to Friday 9:30 to 14:00. The salary is £17,500.00 pro-rata.

Principle Role and Responsibilities:

  • Processing and reconciling purchase invoices;
  • Processing sales invoices;
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations / Petty Cash;
  • Providing weekly aged debt updates;
  • Liaising with clients;
  • Maintaining internal data and customer contact details;
  • Raising general Centre maintenance requests;
  • Maintaining the Sales ledger;
  • Maintaining the Purchase ledger;
  • Investigating and responding to any invoice queries;
  • Dealing with customers face to face, telephone, email, and social media;
  • Dealing with any urgent administrative work including photocopying, scanning etc.;
  • Answering calls on the behalf of other members of staff when necessary;
  • Ordering and maintaining stationary and office equipment;
  • Dealing with post, couriers and deliveries;
  • Welcoming guests and acting as NCC receptionist.

Job Type: Part-time

Start date: ASAP. Full training will be given.

Vacancy available: Community Caretaker

The Newcourt Community Centre is looking for a practical, hardworking and committed caretaker to support the senior caretaker.

The majority of the hours will be week-day evenings and alternative weekends, on scheduled works days to open, maintain and close the Community Centre.

The caretaker will need to set up and remove tables, chairs and other hire-equipment where required, ensuring that furniture is stored safely and neatly when not in use.

This role may also involve additional casual paid hours across the working week.

  • 10-14 hours per/week
  • Salary £8.40 p/h

Start date: ASAP. Full training will be given.
