Little Library

pro-ru28IhjP.jpeg

Just outside the front of the building, tucked between the bush and the water butt, you’ll find The Little Library.

At the moment, it’s a read and take library, so please feel free to help yourself to a book to enjoy at home. We’re currently well stocked, so there’s no need to leave books just now — simply take one, read it, and enjoy!

It’s a small, quiet way to share stories and make space for new adventures 📚✨

It’s time to bin your bra!

Our bra recycling scheme takes your unwanted or unloved bras and through our network of bra banks raises vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research.

Located in side the Community Centre entrance

It can be accessed between

8:30am - 2pm

Monday - Friday

"LYN (Love Your Neighbour) is what we call the community food boxes in Newcourt, which the  lovely LYN volunteers keep topped up with surplus food from local supermarkets.

There is one box in the garden alley next to Newcourt Community Centre and another at Trinity Primary School main entrance.

The goal is simply to help minimise food waste, by sharing the surplus with our community"  - LYN Representative

Allotments

Tucked away at the back of the centre is our fantastic community garden, made up of 10 terraced allotment-style plots — a little green haven right on your doorstep 🌿

Each plot comes with access to fruit trees, shared tools, and water, making it easy to get started whether you’re a seasoned grower or trying gardening for the first time. It’s perfect for introducing little ones to growing their own, or for anyone looking for a relaxing and rewarding hobby.

🌱 Plots are £25 per year
📏 Each plot measures 336 cm x 221 cm

All plots are currently in use, but we are now taking names for our allotment waiting list.
If you’d like to join or want more information, please get in touch with Angel at the centre — we’d love to hear from you!
