Newcourt Community Centre is run by a group of trustees who are volunteers and all live in the Newcourt area. They are the Newcourt Community Association.

Community At Newcourt

Little Library

We have a small read and return library located at the front of the Community Centre (next to the bush). We have a good range of books. Take up to 3 books at a time, then bring them back once you've read them.

Bean & Gone Coffee

We have our very own Coffee Van! Located at the front of the Community Centre. Come and enjoy fresh ground coffee, iced drinks, delicious food and much more. Grab your fury friend a free dog biscuit while you are there.

LYN
(Love Your Neighbour)

"LYN (Love Your Neighbour) is what we call the community food boxes in Newcourt, which the lovely LYN volunteers keep topped up with surplus food from local supermarkets.

There is one box in the garden alley next to Newcourt Community Centre and another at Trinity Primary School main entrance.

The goal is simply to help minimise food waste, by sharing the surplus with our community" - LYN Representative

Allotments

We have a fantastic community garden at the back of the centre. Divided in to 10 allotment style plots. The garden is terraced. There are fruit trees, tools and water on hand. Please contact the centre if you are interested in more information. Perfect for introducing little ones to gardening or as a hobby, come and grow your own.
